Installed this to replace an old Motorcraft unit that was original to the car. Car ran fine for a month after until this box failed, leaving me stranded. Got a ride home, and on a hunch, went back and installed the old unit (from 1983) on the side of the road and drove the car home. It ran fine. I dont recommend this unit if you want your car to run reliably. Just going to stick with the old unit.

Seems to work well. The three bolt holes were slightly smaller than the original Ford version I replaced. Felt like a higher quality than the duralast brand I had also purchases. It it lasts I would give it 5 stars.

It the lowest price I could fine for a Ignition module other than going to a salvage and getting It. I have a Invasion of opossums and needed a Electric fence charger hotter and cheaper than manufacturer chargers puts out so I wired this up to a 45000 volt Ignition coil using a old high beam headlight as a ballast resistor and It works just fine, the orange and purple pickup sensor wires are polarized as a battery and must be connected right, I used a bicycle taillight as a 555 timer function.

Well, it is cheap and it actually works. I have a 1982 f100 4.9 and a 1983 f150 4.9. I ordered 2 of these and the first one worked great. The second came w broken clips due to poor quality packing. Replaced with another one. Very tightly shoved in a box and envelope. No packaging or bubble wrap used at all, however as stated the first one (and 3rd) work without any issues so far.
