This implement is a drop-in anchor setting tool for installing anchors in concrete. It is used for setting 3/8" anchors.

I really wished it was the one in the picture but sadly it is not. It still does the job but just on 3/8 drop-in anchors. Don't tease people with an inaccurate picture, seller.

I ended up buying this tool over the hitachi one and I'm glad I did. If you look at it you'll notice there are three diameters. The smallest one fits perfectly in the 3/8 anchor and hits the wedge. The middle one is thicker but will still fit into the hole that you drilled for the anchor. This is very important if the anchor happens to be recessed into the concrete and not flush with the surface. You will be very happy they took the time to machine it down and you have the extra reach, I know I was. Finally the largest diameter adds a lot of strength. I was hitting this with a 4lb sledge on 4 anchors and it still looks brand new.
