About this item

  • 【Longer Lifetime, Lower Costs】Dr.Prepare12V 8Ah LiFePO4 batteries offer over 4,000 cycles, surpassing the 300-500 cycles of lead acid batteries. Compared to SLA's 40-60% discharge, our lithium batteries are able to discharge 100%, extending the time between replacements, leading to significant cost savings. Higher energy density and 10 years of daily use from Dr.Prepare Lithium batteries.
  • 【Built-in 8A BMS Protection, 10-Year Warranty】Our lithium batteries feature a built-in BMS with six safeguards: high temperature, overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short circuit, and auto balance protection. Coupled with IP56 water and dust resistance capabilities, it ensures durability in various conditions. Moreover, devoid of heavy and rare metals, our LiFePO4 batteries are environmentally friendly.
  • 【Series and Parallel Connection】Our lithium batteries support wiring in series to create a 24V/36V/48V 8Ah battery bank system. Additionally, they can be wired in parallel to build a 12V 16Ah/24Ah/32Ah system. Furthermore, you can connect up to 16 batteries in both series and parallel to construct a robust battery bank system with a total capacity of 1638Wh. Kindly note that ensure all batteries are fully charged individually before connecting in series.
  • 【Cut the Weight by 60%, No More Heavy Lifting】Dr.Prepare's 12 volt 8Ah lithium deep battery weighs only 2.2 lbs, equivalent to two 500ml water bottles. In contrast, a sealed lead-acid battery typically weighs around 6 to 7 lbs, resulting in a remarkable 60% reduction in weight.
  • 【Wide Applications】Dr.Prepare 12V 8Ah lithium battery is the perfect replacement for your less durable SLA batteries. It is suitable for a variety of applications, including fish finders, power wheels, electric scooters, UPS backup power systems, solar gate openers, solar water pump systems, home alarm systems, home security systems, amateur radios, ride-on toys, and more (Not a starter battery).
  • 【Kind Reminder】To charge Power Wheels, you need to connect Wire Harness Connector with Dr.Prepare12V 8Ah LiFePO4 batteries. Wire Harness Connector NOT INCLUDED.

Added these to my daughters quad, fit great and half the weight of the original batteries. Lasts longer than the original batteries as well. I would purchase again.

I have purchased 3 of these. All of them functions as described. I use them for trolling motor. The led indicators are hit or miss. So far a great value for the money. Had the about 4 months.

The batteries work BUT be prepared to pay a preauthorization equal to the purchase price of the product. This fee doesn't come out of your account but places a hold on your funds so you are unable to access. So if the item is $300 be prepared to have $600 in your account. This hold will stay attached to your account for 7 - 10 working days. You can email them but they delay and divert any information claiming the person who handles this is either "on a rest" or "on vacation". Is this practice legal? Yes...is it ethical? No. If this happens to you contact your bank about any NSF charges this practice will cause.

I am buying a 4th one of these working on building a power bank for outages etc. It has taken some time to save up and aquire the 4 I am needing. I will have 3 with meters and one with out the meter. I hope they all can equal out ok once I get them in a parallel set up. You should not mix different brands if you are setting up a bank.I studied for quite sometime on lithium phosphate batteries. Even a little over a year ago they were still very expensive with named brands etc. Now they are coming down to a reasonable price. However not all brands are built with the same quality! Look on you tube and see some guys taking batteries apart and revealing some troubling quality issues on certain brands. The DR prepare seemed to be one of the best. It boast a quality BMS by Texas Instruments design. It also has both cold and hot safety features for charging and discharging etc. See Hobo Tech on Dr Prepare Battery review. I obviously wanted a meter to give some kind of information of the battery status and Dr prepare was the only one I saw that had this feature. After charging with an appropriate 14.4 volt charger which is the limit you can charge these types of batteries, I then did a amp hour test with a 400 watt load and a watt meter. It ran the 400 watt load of 35 amps for right at about 3 hours so yes clearly has 100ah capacity. Here is the main thing you need to know about this battery and what the meter reads! When you charge it up it will read 100% However after a minute or so it will read like 95% when I put the 400 watt load on it and power loss to the inverter it was 35 amps being drawn. Immediately the power meter drops from 95% to 87% from there is slowly drops but also accelerants in percentage loss as time goes on. This is the point I want to be clear on.ONCE THE BATTERY REACHED 50% THE PERCENTAGE DROPPED LIKE A ROCK! With in 10 minutes with the 400 watt load at 50 percentage the battery was exhausted. I am not bad mouthing the battery just saying if you are at 50% you pretty much close to being zero! So anyway from 90 to 55% is really the usable range under a moderate load. In charging with an amp hour meter it measure a little more then 100 ah going back in to the battery so again definitely confirms 100ah capacity. Hope this gives someone some food for thought if you are wanting to build a power back up off grid system.

I have a 1996 Club Car DS golf cart (36v) that was having some trouble climbing hills in my neighborhood. I noticed the lead acid batteries were leaving white puddles on my garage floor from apparent leakage. I figured the batteries were probably close to end of life and it was time replace them. I looked online for options and there are SO many options available. From new lead acid batteries to single unit batteries, to you name it. I watched several YouTube Videos and there is quite a bit of support for a single unit 36V battery but the problem is, they are all very expensive. The benefit of a single unit battery is that it stays more balanced, you don't have one battery cell out of balance from the other units. However, the price differential is substantial. I found that going with 3 - 12v batteries was about 40% cheaper then single unit. Since this is an older golf cart and I don't plan to keep it forever, I'm looking for lowest cost / best performance possible.I received these batteries via UPS Ground shipping about a week after I ordered them. They all came with exactly 89% charge in them. I used an HRTC 12v LiPo charger to bring all the batteries up to 100%. The batteries weight around 22 pounds each, so all 3 installed weigh less then 70 pounds. This is significantly less then the lead acid batteries that were well over 50 pounds per unit so instantly the cart was lighter. After getting them all balanced (fully charged) I installed in the cart and took a few runs around the neighborhood. The cart was moving so much faster, the throttle more responsive, speed pickup was almost instant. We drove around the neighborhood for 10 minutes and then parked the cart. I checked the battery health using the built-in LCD monitoring unit and they all displayed 90% capacity. This seemed a little low to me considering we only drove around 3 miles. We took the cart out again a few more times and the batteries still read 90% capacity. I'm not sure this is accurate, considering the added run time, but it could be because they are new and haven't have many recharge cycles on them yet. I'm still very pleased with the purchase, it was less then replacing with new lead acid batteries and I'm sure they will last longer then I intend to keep the cart. A bonus is if there is ever a power outage, I can easily reconfigure the wiring to provide power to an inverter and keep my house running off these batteries for an extended period. I may have to order a few more!
