They do not work as proposed.They did not polish marble. Suppose poor quality.This is not what you are looking for to bring a good shine to marble

These work great on taking down and polishing edges when working w marble and travertine. Use wet w a variable speed polisher; although a variable speed grinder will work, you must MAKE SURE you keep your RPMs under the rated speed bc these bad boys WILL fly off of the Velcro mount. Seldom do I need anything over 400 bc im mainly matching the factory finish on exposed edges .Good price. I always order two sets bc they last a while but the 100-400 grit pads get used up much quicker. I prefer the Rubi pads if someone else is paying for materials. Some local shops sell these for $25+ a piece (greedy sumsabiches)

Bought this to finish the edges of a terrazzo floor I was restoring. Actually performed better than the larger, diamond impregnated pads for the large polisher. Wear was very reasonable at the recommended grinder speed.

If you are looking here, you have likely attempted to get that 3000 grit fine, shiny countertop finish. One must progressively polish through the grits to reach the desired appearance. Rule of thumb ... 800 grit finish is a leather-like finish. 1500 yields a fine matte finish.There is no fast way to polish your desired finer finish. These diamond grit embedded discs attached to an angle grinder are frankly the only way to get there short of the ancient Egyptian many hands and weeks/months approach. Watch youtube to get the technique down.This is like my 4th set. They last a long time. The polishing must absolutely be done under flood/flowing water to maintain lubrication.Excellent value.
