I was a little concerned about the tabs on the input side of this vent, but tubing fits fine over it and can be reinforced with a clamp. The build quality is great for the price and it feels like a substantial piece of trim. One thing I don't like is that the mesh doesn't seem to be removable for cleaning in case of buildup or insect nesting. Barring any issue with that, I recommend it.

I got this vent to be part of an exhaust system for a resin 3d printer. I'm building a window-mounted exhaust vent and this vent is extremely sturdy and has a screen to keep bugs, etc. from entering my house through the exhaust. I like how it's shaped - even heavy rains shouldn't make much ingress while it's in use and I expect it to last for a very long time. The connection fits standard 4" hose very well and the fitting does not deform when clamped too tightly.
