Poor engineering.Base too short to support vertical mast. If you don't own a welder, don't buy it.Safety hazard. Chinese more concerned with a small shipping container than product design.

My husband got this for his electrical contracting business because he needed something to hold large commercial ceiling lights when he was high up on a ladder. He put a board on it and it worked great! It saves him a massive amount of time and effort. It is lightweight, folds up, and fits in his van, it went together easily and quickly. His only complaint was that it would not fit through a 36in door unless it was folded up again. Other than that he was very happy with it.

put ceiling in garage by myselve at 73 years old this machine made that possible only thing didnt like was the high that you had to put the material on machineyoe still have to lift 4 to 5 ft
