First off. This amp is not a 1000 watts. when was hooked up to 4 4-inch ds18 coax speakers. 2ohms on front channels and an 8inch Dayton audio sub bridged on 3 and 4 at 4 ohms. this amp clips easy at mid-levels. so, I tried same set up with my Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp I use in my other set up, which is 4x150. The difference was big. sounded better, louder, and cleaner. so, I thought I got a bad amp. I ordered another to try out an see if the first one was not working right. "Was after 30-day return". The second one I ordered as a new one, came as a was a refurbished one and was dead out of the box. Sent it back right away. I have installed other ds18 amps in the past and never had any issues with their power output like this amp. I cut my loss on first amp, an got another Rockford amp. happy, happy system.

I ordered this amplifier back in June and didn't get around to the install until after the Amazon warranty expired(30 days). The front channels on the amp were not working properly so I contacted DS-18 directly. The lady told me that they would contact me back and they did not. So, I called them again and went through the same thing. After 3 times now nobody has gotten back to me. So here I sit with this garbage amplifier and DS-18 will not stand behind it! Another person I know had problems with his and even bought a 3rd one. Not only is the amplifier subpar but the companies customer service is beneath subpar! For such a young company they sure are working toward going out of business and probably real quick! Customer service is even more important than product quality and unfortunately DS-18 doesn't understand this. I will never be purchasing anything from this company again. This is not a negative review against Amazon at all. They always honor their 30-day warranty policy. This a negative review of DS-18!

Installed on motorcycle an when I turn up volume it's too much static old Amp wasn't doing that. Requested a replacement an never got an answer about it so I do recommend anyone else buying any this from this seller I would give -0 stars if I could.

The amp only lasted like five minutes not sure what caused it to stop playing sound but the thing that I’m the most upset about is the fact that after you buy something it takes you a week or so to get it even with Amazon prime and now it’s taken over two weeks for replacement.

First one shipped from Amazon and was dead on arrival. Called company and they were great to deal with. Another was shipped out direct. Love this amp. Plenty of power to drive 6 diamond audio speakers on my 22 street glide. Power protect and clipping protect make setting this amp easy. Crisp clean power. Price point is great for what you are getting.
