I own a number of camera trays from different manufacturers. I really like this one.The hand grips are a kind of rubber material and are both soft to grip but also firm enough that it's not going to move.The tray is expandable, but what's neat is the way they have machined a 'keyway' into the bottom of the components as they interface - that keeps it all aligned as it moves in/out as it's being adjusted. A pretty neat idea.Very happy with the quality and value for money - go buy it!
