Trouble shooting Tips

Why can't my computer recognize the 2.5Gbps Ethernet PCIe card?

1. Check if the gold connectors of the card are clean, if not, clean the surface of the connector.

2. Make sure the PCI Express card is properly inserted into the PCI Express slot, if not, turn off the computer and plug it in again.

3. If this is still not the case, please change another PCI Express slot on your motherboard.

4. The motherboard itself could be defective. You can try another motherboard to test whether the 2.5Gbps Ethernet PCle Card works or not.

Why can't I use Gigabit Ethernet transfer speeds?

1. Please confirm that your Ethernet environment supports Gigabit structure.

2. Please use CAT 6 UTP/STP cable

Bought to replace a realtec nic in my unraid server. Realtec is tricky with Linux and obtaining correct drivers. This was 100% plug and play. Will only be buying intel from now on.

If you're looking to run this card on FreeBSD/pfsense/TrueNAS or any other FreeBSD derivative, fogettabouttit. FreeBSD's Intel igc driver should support the nic devices however looks like the issue is on the pcie side because the card doesn't even appear in dmesg or with lspci.

Out of the box działa z ESXi 8. Rozpoznaje go jako dwa nicki i226-V wiec bonusowo wygląda że dają już nowszy chipset. Z mojej strony polecam!
