The fuel valves are required for in cowl muffler airplanes, they have always worked well for me.

Just as described, includes both the valve and the fill nipple. See picture. Works great.

So I did the unthinkable and created a cowled engine installation that was nearly impossible to fuel without weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth. Oh, but it looks slick. But looks don't mean squat if you can't fuel the engine and go flying. Bottom line: I installed this fueling valve on the underside of the cowl, not easily visible (you could put it under a cover or hatch), and presto, fueling this plane is a piece of cake. Hopefully, I won't get too much dirt and grass in it, but that's yet another bit of hindsight I'll deal with if I have to.I've heard that they can go to leaking with some age as the seals get some wear, but if this thing gives me a year of fueling bliss, I'll gladly pop another one in and keep grinning. Now if I could just get the blasted engine to run worth a flip...

Got two of these and install them on planes. One failed nearly immediately. Took the other off. Do not use these.
