Comes in a roll unlike the folded brands. Attach tape to window frame, roll across the top and cut to size. Viola! Nice and warm.

I'm going to be really honest here. In a very, very cold and windy climate, one plastic sheet might not be sufficient. Even so, this brand is the best I've used. Better than Scotch; far better than Ace.But my place is old and drafty; nothing adheres well! So I layer the plastic sheets and it makes a huge difference. I've used other brands -- not nearly as good.

I am living in Victoria where it gets chilly in winter. I live in a house with gappy thin windows. I put this up and tested for a month. It made no difference which was a shame.

Looks good, nearly invisible. Only complaint is that it was not the easiest to install and a a lack of detailed in depth instructions. It does have instructions and they are good enough but some tips on tightness, how much extra to leave when cutting, etc. Would have gone a long way to making it a smoother install. Also it takes a long time with a hairdryer to de-wrinkle and if you work some of the imperfections to much it melts holes in it. That was my fault, but a caution in the instructions would have been nice. I used crystal clear packing tape to cover the hole and all is well. Can't speak to how much effect it has yet, but has clearly trapped an insulating pocket of air that I expect will work well.

You may as well hang up any piece of plastic over your windows - this does nothing at all!

Easy to install and stays tight once heated and shrunk to fit and smooth out.Cheaper brands don't stay tight after awhile.

Ok, it’s not crystal clear, but does the job much better. Thick. We are renting a nice house, but the windows are from the 60’s. At least door wall is new and a great brand. We have huge windows in front and back, plus finished basement. We buy the heavy duty stuff and it works well. Also does not tear easily when cutting like others do, which helps with my husband’s uncontrolled swearing when we are installing. This year I only bought one box and had to head up to store and buy another and they only had the regular. Let’s just say my husband will be on Santa’s naughty list for a few years because of what came out of his mouth.

I really thought the DUCK MAX would be a good choice but I am very disappointed in this kit! The tape did not stick well, I had to secure the film with my own packing tape. The plastic film ripped when I was applying it to my slider. By no means should this film be considered “MAX” strength. Don’t waste your money, find an alternative!
