If it was 1” wider it would be perfect for hand mixing mortar or concrete.

I am a novice DIYer. I often do not really know how to do repairs around the house. I read instructions and hope for the best. The first time I patched cement was not a pretty site. I did not use the correct tools. This time I used the Bon 12-181 Pro Plus 5-1/2-Inch by 2-Inch Duckbill Trowel and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. The tool made the job easier and so it was easier on my ego to look at my finished product. The sturdiness, and thickness must have been perfect. Thanks to Amazon's purchase suggestions I found what I had needed all along. If you're a DIYer and have some patching to do I recommend this tool. I'd buy it myself if I hadn't already bought it.

It’s a damn trowel. What could go wrong? The handle didn’t fall off. It doesn’t channel AM radio. It’s a trowel, people.
