This fitting soldered to my keg easily and does fit my existing hardware. The big problem is that after a month of hanging out in my garage between brews it is getting rusty on the outside. Stainless???

Great quality! Clean threads and fit like a glove much better than the normal Chinese cheap- o junk. One Tip for you If your going to use it for home brewing. Wash it with dish soap first to get the oil off it then use your sanitizer to clean it.

NOT SNAP LOCK(brand), NOT STAINLESS, DOSN'T LOCK! even though it has Snap Lock on it. The real Snap Lock fittings have Snap Lock logo as part of the casting mold. IE it protrudes from the surface a little making it easy to read. The cheap Chinese knockoff im assuming i got has Snap Lock ETCHED into the side. Obviously someone is mass producing these parts and falsely putting Snap Locks name on it because it does not fit and lock in the female side of the fitting. Last but not least! Its not even stainless steel!!!!! I have many of these in my brewing gear and this one is at least half the weight of the real deal ones. CANNOT BE USED, spend the money and do your research don't buy cheap crap! See the pics for yourself, real ones on the left!
