This is a very clever design. I have Bowflex 552 dumbbells whose handles are higher off the floor than most dumbbells. But the design of the "hooks" is deep enough to make picking the assembly up foolproof. Good investment.

It is study and easy to use. It is versatile where I can put dumbbells of different weights quickly in and out. I appreciate too that it is all metal. I've only used it once so far, but I look forward to many more times. The mechanism where it balances the weights make it feel like a very natural motion for deadlifts. The knurled bar makes it feel very comfortable as well. The bar did feel slightly oily, but that's just residual from manufacturing I suspect. Also, I felt around the hooks, and it has smooth edges.

It was nice you could just put free weights on the bar, but the ends would swing back and forth too much for my liking. Returned.

I use this with some adjustable dumbbells. And While it works just fine for simple curls or deadlifts. It gets a little sketchy when I’m trying to do squats or shoulder presses. I wish there was like a rubber peice or something to keep the dumbbells more secure. I also thing that its great that the dumbbell holders are able to move. But I do wish That I had the option to lock them in place. Seems well made. And can handle 50lbs on each side. So that’s nice. If you’re looking for something to add to your at home gym. This is a good place to start.

I do Body Pump at home but only had dumbbells. Did not want to invest in a whole new set of equipment/barbell set. I was skeptical but tried it out, and it works as advertised. Easy to change weights in and out quickly during a fast paced set. I have to admit I'm still nervous about clean and presses, but so far so good, the weights have stayed in place and have given me no reason to worry. The neoprene weights fit well and stay put, the metal handles dumbells slide a bit back and forth but seem to stay securely. Overall very happy with this product so far.
