I had a set of the Roadsmart 2’s on a previous VFR750 and loved how they wore and the grip, so when I got a newer VFR800, I chose the Roadsmart 3’s.I’ve had them on the bike for a year now, and have put approximately 3000 miles on them mostly commuting to work and riding the Blue Ridge Parkway. Excellent grip both wet and dry, great wear, predictable lean and grip. On a 500+ lbs 110hp bike with VTEC it’s great to know the grip will be there when you’re winding it out!

4,000 miles and so far so good. Riding style not too aggressive but not totally benign either. Used a little in the rain/wet, but not much. Would buy again.

I’ve gone through several sets of these Roadsmart III tires and they’ve always performed well.

Tire has proven to me to be reliable, well priced, and reasonably long lasting at about 6000 miles avg life before wear bars on my FJR. Don't do much wet riding but dry grip is predictable and confidence building in the twisties, ymmv.

All motorcycle tires are a compromise of some kind; very high traction tires are typically softer rubber which wear out faster. High mileage tires can be hard rubber and/or tread patterns that just don't grip as well. In consideration of price/longevity/performance the Roadsmart 3 impressed enough that I bought them again. They balanced well, they looked fine, they preformed fine and were competitively priced. My first set had 8200 miles on them when changed and although they seemed like they could have gone another 2000 miles I replaced them in advance of a huge road trip just to be extra safe. Even though I was very picky about maintaining tire pressure I felt the tire did a good job of holding up especially considering they were on a heavy 1000 CC sport-touring bike. Recommend for distance sport-touring.

Let's just start with the fact that I ride faster than your average BMW rider (2009 R1200RT)... Two up this tire is flawless. 100% going to re-order again. And let's just say that my last Dunlop tire was a D207 and that one sucked and cost me $1700 worth of damage to my bike. However, having said that, this tire is AMAZING! The front tire especially is exceptional... Even two up. 100% happy with this set. Riding in Utah and wearing these out on the sides faster than on the flats. Glorious tire... Have I mentioned I liked it? LOL. So much cheaper than the Michelin too...Update: So far I have 3758 miles on the set. Rear tire has a distinct wear pattern. The flat spot isn't particularly "flat" but it's definitely there. The sides are still good with excellent grip at all lean angles. I'm running 38psi front and about 43 psi rear. Just did an 800 mile trip a couple of weeks ago and the tire was practically flawless. I did notice some uneven wear (slight cupping) in the grooves of the rear tire, but I'm pretty sure that's normal especially if you push it pretty hard. Did a 200 mile ride yesterday (5/22/2022) with a local sportbike group and was a solid mid-pack with a passenger. The rear tire was nice and gummy on the sides after a spirited run through a local canyon. I have zero worries about traction.Compared to Michelins PR5GT I did a quick calculation for miles per dollar and where PR5GT came in right around 13.96 miles per dollar, these so far have already exceeded them at 13.97 miles per dollar and I imagine I have about 400-500 miles left before I am done with them. Front tire is barely developing flatish spots on the sides. I'd say it has at least 500 more miles of hard cornering left in it, likely more.Other than running to a store or to work occasionally, all my aggressive serious riding is done with a passenger and I'm not a light guy either. At way less than $300.00 for a set, these are a great deal for what you get. I'd like to compare them to Angel ST but not sure I want to "learn" a new tire. Do I wish the middle wore a bit slower like PR5GT? Sure, but in the miles per dollar category these are already better than the French brand and you don't have to subsidize Michelin's MotoGp contract.

I've put those front and back on my 2004 FZ6. Great cornering grip, and predictable. Almost as grippy as my old Dunlop Q3+. Hope they'll last longer than the Q3+

These tires lasted about twice as long as the Metzler Z8s I've been putting on my K1200GT the past few years. This means once a year replacement (12,000 or more miles) which is a convenience. Performance overall seems, to me, to be fine; although in temperatures below freezing I believe that their grip is diminished more obviously than was the case with the Metzlers. (If you keep your bike in the garage when it's below 40, no problem......except for missing out on some otherwise great riding days!)
