These picks make my Gibson acoustic guitars sound so crisp and amazing. A must have pick. Try a .73 for your electric guitar….perfect choice!

.73 is good thickness, and there's plenty of control and flexibility. Strumming sound is great. I like the material, and they grip well.

Well it is not Billy Strings’ favorite BlueChip TP48, but it doesn’t cost $40 either. I have picked with Dunlop picks going on 40 plus years (I’m an old picker) on my Martin D28. The Ultra .73 is certainly one of a my favorites. I like the .73 for its quality and brightness. Stiff but not too stiff. The 1.0 is a little stiff for my flat picking style. Try it - you won’t be disappointed.

I've been trying different, affordable, picks for flatpicking, and these are the best, so far.Just the right amount of snap, not too stiff. Easy picking because they are slippery and smooth. I've read they last a long time, but I can't speak to that yet. The tortex are also good, but will wear down.

Palheta muito boa, não escorrega e dá um brilho estalado à mais no som. O único porém é a cor, bem discreta, mais fácil de perder.

I've come to prefer Ultex for acoustic guitar and mandolin. I like the feel - not rough, not slippery. I use different gauges on different instruments. I use .73 and .60 on different guitars at different times depending on the sound I want and the sound I get with them works for me and what I do. The one downside is that they're translucent and if (when) you drop one it tends to disappear. Your cat will find it if you don't.Totally subjective. Like with strings, you just have to try different things til you find what works for you.

these picks are great! they wear like iron and are a smooth and articulate playing experience. the tone you get from these is very bright, glassy, and focused. the only qualm is that if you have a sloppy technique, these generate a ton of string noise; strumming or picking,

Plettro molto adatto per strumming (e non per altri usi!): buona la presa e la resistenza all'uso nonostante la morbidezza del modello. Offerto a prezzo molto vantaggioso.

Les mediators ultex ont plus de grip que le tortex et ils sonnent plus propre avec un son dirty (disto ou fuzz). Seul défaut : s'usent assez vite.

The Jim Dunlop 421P 1.0 Standard pick is a real gem for any guitarist. It combines a nice pick, excellent grip, and delivers a fantastic sound, especially when paired with my beloved Martin HD28V. I was so impressed by its performance that I also ordered the .78 thickness, and while both are excellent picks, the 1.0mm version has quickly become my go-to choice, particularly when I'm soloing. One of the standout features of the 1.0mm pick is its minimal flex. This attribute makes it ideal for intricate solos and fingerpicking, where precision is key. With just the right amount of rigidity, it provides a consistent and stable feel, allowing me to execute fast and precise runs with ease. Whether I'm playing arpeggios or lead riffs, the 1.0mm pick maintains its shape and provides a reliable response. The increased volume produced by the 1.0mm thickness is another notable advantage. When I want my guitar to project and fill a room, this pick doesn't disappoint. The thicker gauge helps me achieve a full, resonant tone with excellent projection, making it perfect for live performances or jam sessions with friends. The pick's grip is also praiseworthy. It fits comfortably in my hand, allowing me to maintain control even during extended playing sessions. I no longer have to worry about slips or drops, which used to be a concern with some other picks I've used in the past. What's truly impressive is how well the Jim Dunlop 421P 1.0 Standard pick complements my Martin HD28V. The pairing brings out the guitar's rich, warm tones and enhances its overall sound quality. Whether I'm strumming, fingerpicking, or soloing, this pick consistently delivers a satisfying and bright tone that beautifully complements my acoustic guitar's natural characteristics. In conclusion, the Jim Dunlop 421P 1.0 Standard pick has become an essential tool in my guitar playing. Its combination of stiffness, grip, and tonal quality makes it a top choice for soloing and precision work, while its compatibility with my Martin HD28V adds a new dimension to my playing experience. If you're searching for a pick that offers excellent control, volume, and tonal enhancement, I highly recommend giving this pick a try. It's a small investment that can have a significant impact on your playing.
