Great product. Keep some xylene close by when applying. The product gets tacky quickly and can be a mess but if you keep it thin with xylene (10-15%) you can cover a lot of area with a 1/8" nap roller on a pole. The roller provided is not the best, it was leaving pink lint. Pick up a small pin roller with 1/8" nap if using smooth. Get some help from a friend or two and it will go fast. Did a entire 17' center console boat deck in three coats with a gallon of smooth white. Hatches, floor, sides, gunwales, console, everything. Very impressed with the product.

Had it for a bit over a month before I had time to use it. Keep it stored in the house at around 70*. When I was ready to use it I prepared my truck bed and then stirred the can as it directed. When I opened the can and began to pour it it was the consistency of water. Wouldn’t cover even the slightest scratch or marks. May have gotten a “bad” can but not sure I would risk using it again. What I received was worthless

I was expecting this material to have exceptional toughness, comparable to something like line-x. I had some anecdotal research pointing me in this direction. The reality is its not really much different from neoprene rubber toughness wise, even weaker and more brittle. Its very thin, like paint, takes over a week to dry, and it cant be used as a glue/adhesive like gorilla glue at all, it simply will fail to cure (it will even smell uncured weeks after). I tried gluing some sheets of fabric together with it. It adhered, it just didnt ever fully cure. And it didnt offer any noticeable additional pentration resistance, or anything beneficial. No perceivable toughening effect, really just behaved like rubber.I tried putting some on some solid plastic, not only did it scratch off with ease, but it was brittle and shattered. Like little flakes just popping off.You really cant do anything with this stuff other than paint your truck bed, with multiple layers. And my experience with it seriously puts a dampener on my perspective of how tough it is. Its just expensive paint made with polyurethane plastic.

Used this product on a truck and had no issue with it fading or chipping. I had previously used a different brand that was also tinted and even with proper preparation it did not last more than 12 months before it came off in spots. It has been 2 years and the Durabak still looks as good as the day I applied it with no chipping. This is my go to company. Will buy for future projects

I ordered smooth , with the smooth rollers and got these super rough rollers and what came out textured. Threw the rollers away, they were nuts, they rolled a ton of stuff on. Used smooth rollers and it still came out textured ( no granules in it). If I would have gotten what I ordered , I would have gave it 5 stars , because it hasn't faded or anything. Looks like the day I put it on . Old paint literally fell off, from the Texas sun and rained then froze. Off it came.(cheap paint on a trailer). The Durabak so far seems unaffected by the sun, but I can't letter the company trailer again with it textured. Have to get signs made or sand it smooth and try again. anyhow, great stuff, just needs to be what you order and it's too expensive for shipping mistakes or whatever.
