I can't give it a bad review because of my ignorance; I should've read the description and reviews better as this does NOT stick to carpet. We didn't use it on hard surfaces, but I guess it would stick cause that's what it's meant for. Needed it for an apartment move-in and didn't have time to buy the correct stuff ... Live and learn

didnt realize I bought blue but it works well and protects my floors. Im using it under pet birds and its easy to change out. Doesnt leave any residue on hardwood floor. My office chair rolls on it easily and doesnt tear it up. Big roll for the price.

This worked out excellent! It stoped dirty boots track in dirt and protected my floors and carpet.

This film is sticky to itself but doesn’t stick to carpet. It is thick enough to withstand the foot traffic during my basement finishing project. I just doubt it will actually stay in place. I am not very satisfied with this product.

Does NOT stick. Other reviews reinforce this. Has been labeled "low tac" or non adhesive. If you need it to stick, it won't. Would love to return, but to much trouble and size is awkward. Rip off.

Heavy duty, great adhesive without leaving anything behind after removing. Would recommend

This did not stick to the brand new lvp or the existing carpet. It was tacky, but did not stick like an adhesive film. It has good mil thickness and feels durable to foot traffic. It is probably best described as poly covering for flooring that won’t slip out under your feet, as it’s tackiness helps it to grip under your foot, but it does not stick like you would expect tape to. You will probably have to tape some corners. A door can catch it and bunch it up or wind could lift it just like plastic, and it sticks to itself incredibly well so you could have a mess if it happens.
