Duratch L-Type Pipe Perforation Elbow Wrench SetI've got a few of the Facom originals, and this set seemed like a good way to flesh them out. I'm giving these four stars only because I have them, held them to get a sense of them and they seem more than adequate. These aren't yet daily users for me, so that as good as I have for now but I can't fault them - until I might break them. Until then, they seem like a good deal.

First bought these angled hand sockets in Spain, they are simple to use and really strong compared to a ring spanner, comparable in strength to the substantial wheel nut socket spanner supplied on most new vehicles.Using the cranked end enables the bolt thread to protrude through the socket unlike a ratchet socket, leverage with or without a pipe extension can easily be applied to the straight shaft to loosen stubborn nuts, then using the straight end the nut can be unsrewed quickly from long bolt threads again with ease using the short cranked end for leverage.These Duratech double end hex socket spanners seem well made and provide a more secure fitting for rusted nut removal than a combination ring spanner, the open end cranked socket a real boon for long threaded bolts.

It's a very nice set, appears to be strong, I have leaned on them a bit. Two things I didn't realize or consider before I bought them is; Nuts with long protruding threads on them can be undone because the thread goes through the socket, unlike if they had a wrench on them. Secondly there is the usual socket connection on the handle so you can attach an extension bar to get more leverage. I bought them to get into tight spaces, which they do.

All Duratech tools are reasonably priced (always could be less expensive) functional and serve their purpose. I hope they keep making and inventing purpose specific tools.

Très bonne série de clés à pipes débouchées.L'idéal quand on bricole sur sa voiture, j'avais des 12 pans mais dans la durée elles se sont matées.C'est pour cela que j'ai pris ces clés à 6 pans.Très belle finition chromée, elles ont l'air solide, on sent la qualité.Facile transporter avec la pochette en tissu.Pour la qualité, le prix reste très correct.
