We really wanted this to work well! The overall construction is great but it doesn't work well with changing motorcycle tires. It is almost easier to do it manually than it is to use this stand. The premise is good but they need a few things to help with the stand to make it work with tires. This is a lot of money to have it not work as well as it did. We will continue to try it.

Over all i like this unit. I have found the bolt is too big for some wheels. And if you have a heavy sidewall tire the need weight added or bolted own. I had a helper so one guy held it down as the other worked on tire. The bead breaker works well.

I have used this once to change the front tyre on my Royal Einfield 650. It worked fine and a bit easier with the legs then crawling around on the floor. I did smash my finger on the center bolt that holds the wheel my fault. Also the center bolt was too high so had to fish it through the stand and wheel too lower, so wish it had more threads to make it lower when bolted onto the stand. As far as the welds and the leg brackets. It looks like they have been changed versus the previous post. But to take stress off the legs I made a T shaped base with 2 X 8 with partially drilled holes for the three legsWhat the manufacture should do is add another ring for the legs to keep them from spreading out under stress. This looks too be as good as it gets at this price point.

The item square tube frame that the long rod is se3cured to hold the tire is very thin metal. When the tire is secured and you attempt to break the bead, the force on the threaded rod caused the tube to flex and the rods tilts at an angle toward the re3moving bracket that places pressure on the tire. This allows the wheel to slip off center dropping down over an 1 and a half at an angle. not allowing full pressure on the tire bead. I had to get 2 pieces of 1/4 inch flat plate steel, and make a longer mounting rod to keep the rod from bending towards the bead breaker. I placed a piece under and on top of the square tube cross member that the rod is mounted in. Works ok, but the breaker bar is too short and doesn't allow proper pressure to break the bead. Might be great for bicycles!!!
