I have been fighting dust control from my Miter-Saw and the Table-Saw. This product defiantly has been one of the better investments. It helps remove 90% of dust verses the Original Collection system which was no better then 40%?? It is a Measurable difference and worth the money.

Should come with instructions. Fits perfectly though. Definitely helps with the dust but not 100% of it. I would recommend this product

I bought this for my saw for my high school shop classes I teach. The dust is bad with this type of saw and I needed to hook it up to the existing vacuum collection system.It would be nice to have a simple install sheet, but the pictures on Amazon made it easy to figure out how to install it.Insyallation requires you to remove the saw blade stop on the Dewalt slider and the original dust tube and dust bag. Reuse the saw blade stop mounts on the frame and screws to install this on the saw. It came with two size tube transitions, so I used the 2-1/2. The zip ties it comes with helps secure the small tube and coupling to the saw. It works great getting about 95% of the dust when my vacuu dust collector is on. It will bounce a little saw dust forward if you don't.My students love it, and it doesn't block the saws compound, miter, or movement.It doesn't require a lot of tubing like the original since the coupling is at the center point of the saw not on the back of the slide. Sliders take up more room in the back and that completely complicates dust tube routing sinnce you need more tubing to allow the miter to yravel through the full of the swivel angles. This solves that issue and cleansing up.the overall look too.Great design and I'll buy one for my home saw next. Great product.
