I have an unnecessarily long dust collection hose connecting my table saw to my dust collector and rather than cut down a long hose, I figured I would just order a shorter hose like this.This hose is indeed just about 5.5' long; because they shipped it completely collapsed, I had to pull on both ends to stretch it out and get it even close to the full length, but once I did that, it's maybe even just a bit longer (though it also wants to shrink back to its shorter length when left to its own devices). The spiral wire is very stout, as is the clear vinyl that makes up the hose wall--I have no concerns about the durability of this hose. The two hose clamps are appropriately sized, but do require a screwdriver/nut driver to tighten/loosen them. It would have been a nice and relatively inexpensive upgrade for the company to include the type of hose clamps that can be tightened by finger.While you can get similar dust collection hose cheaper (at least on a per-foot basis), if you just need short piece, this may be more economical.

Ok it says dust collection hose and I'm sure it's perfect for that but it's also the perfect size for a portable air conditioner I have that sits on the floor and the hose goes to a window. I thought I was going to have trouble finding a hose that worked but this was easy Thank you Homnuts
