All these ironing board covers do not work. Stick to cotton. I iron every day and I find that these covers just do not work properly. They’re a waste of money. This will be my third one and each one is not scorch resistant and any kind of water that gets onto it dries up and creates the pad to be dry, therefore flaking starts.

This was my second attempt at going cheap on an ironing board cover. I'm a bit amazed at all the positive reviews. This cover has a sewn in elastic cord to keep it tight on the board - good in theory. However, as I was putting the cover on my board, the plastic cord tightener (perhaps the hook and loop feature?) popped right off, broken. I cannot evaluate the other features of this cover, as it was never even got onto my board.

I have a slightly oversized ironing board so it was a tight fit but it was so nice when ironing on. I could not feel the grate of the ironing board through the padding. Also love the pattern. Would definitely recommend you purchase this item.

Fantastic pattern. Can come in super wrinkly and oddly shaped. Be patient and stretch it over the ironing board, then use Velcro straps to hold position temporarily, use a stream iron to smooth out the top making use to push wrinkles into the elastic edge, then tighten draw string. Then adjust Velcro straps to tighten top again. Turns into a perfect flat padded fitted ironing surface.
