Great stand . This stand is lighter than that single tom cymbal stand that DW makes , for a lot less money .

Greetings - I have (3) - two double and one single 9000 series DW tom stands to hold five DW rack mount toms. These stands are made for 1/2" diameter DW mounts, and they are built like a tank/brick poop house - precisely like all DW equipment. Those of you with "sour grapes" regarding this product simply misunderstood what YOUR responsibility was pertaining to confirming the diameter of YOUR equipment...

I'm not that big a fan of DW. But, I needed to purchase this for our worship team drum set. It does the job. But, one thing I didn't like is that the "post" that you place the tom on is too narrow and so tightening the clamp all the way still didn't fully grab. I didn't know that there was a variation in size. I thought all parts are standard. Before purchasing, you may want to research the size of the clamp in relation to the post on this stand.If it matches, then I'd purchase this stand. Great price. If not, well, then you may want to look elsewhere.
