The 17218 is a 2.5" in/out muffler, not 2" like the product specs stated. I'm actually happy that it is 2.5" since that's what I thought it was supposed to be when looking on the Dynomax website. It was only after I ordered it on Amazon that I notice the specs say 2" so it had me worried. It's the only time I'm glad they had it wrong. As for the muffler itself I can't comment yet as I haven't installed it yet.
