Put this on my muffler deleted 22 Ram Sport 5.7 Hemi....took care of the drone and kept a really nice aggressive tone to boot!

If you’re looking for a quiet muffler for your ride this is not it .It does quiet the exhaust down quite a bit versus straight pipes however it does have aSemi-aggressive growl to it .Mainly it can be heard when accelerating .IMO YOU GET THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS WITH THIS RESONATOR.It’s a semi- aggressive growl when accelerating and it’s quiet while idling and cruising / maintaining your speed .

Believe the other reviews. This exhaust is super quiet. While that may be needed on your daily or soccer mom van, this is not what you want for your weekend warrior or drag car. I'm sure it supports big power but it turns your muscle machine into a eco sounding golf cart. Way too quiet.

When it was time to replace my muffler on one of my older trucks I decided to try this one. Not sorry. Easy install and sounds good. It is in no way a top of the line muffler, but neither is a 18 year old work truck. Lol.Worth the money without hesitation.

The quality of this muffler is good- heavy steel, easily weldable to connect to exhaust or hangers. I was a bit disappointed in the sound, it’s really loud.I used this as the muffler on my diesel project, behind a turbo in a very short wheelbase SUV. It did not quiet the truck at all at idle, and only seems to knock the harshness off at cruising. It did not hamper performance at all. So in that respect, it must flow with virtually no restriction.It’s hard to be unhappy with it, and the quality for the price is excellent. I think this is more of a resonator to be used in conjunction with a muffler.

i installed this on my 2007 Saturn ion that has a 5.3l v8 in it and the sound is amazing. it is running 3" straight pipe with just this in it and the sound is amazing. if you want it a big quieter you can add a cutout and muffler and everything get super quite.

this muffler sounds great and really flows well. Placement makes a big difference too, on my build, the closer to the engine it is, the tamer and more drone you get. The closer to the rear you put it, the more rasp and megaphone effect you get. I've got it midway to the back bumper right now and it sounds fantastic. It also blows exhaust a good 6-8 feet behind the car because it's flowing so well. (LS3 with headers and cam). I recommend this muffer.

The muffler was as advertised. It was installed on my 2005 Sierra 1500 in about 30 minutes at the local muffler shop for 50 bucks. I've always had flowmaster in the past but wanted something more subtle. This is much quieter on startup and mild driving around town. Flow is better due to the straight through design. Very little cab noise which was one of the goals with this purchase. Lastly, it roars when you stomp on it just like I like. It's a great option for anyone who's wife is annoyed by the constant exhaust noise of a super 44, but still wants more performance and that exhaust tone.
