Works fine. Heat sync is a little fragile. Used it on a wiper motor for a Halloween prop.

These work really well, my only complaint is that the knob needs to be run through a panel as the only thing keeping it attached is solder. otherwise electrically pretty durable, i’ve accidentally shorted one a bunch of times and it still works with no issues. great price

I like to play with projects, and I created a leaf blower out of an old vacuum motor. This controller helps me soften the enormous speed of the vacuum motor. Works great, wide range, recommended.

This is a great dc-dc controller, 12-24volt 10amp max. It worked great for my Halloween props controlling windshield wiper motors.. 👍

Used this to replace a bad wire feed motor driver board on a Harbor Freight Mig170 welder. I secured the old board out of the way with wire ties as it has other circuitry on it that still works. I installed this board using the potentiometer nut in the original hole. I installed a 24vdc power supply (240vac rated) to the pains terminals and wired the output in series with the trigger wire. It fed wire perfectly and brought the welder back to operation. I did add some hot glue to support the board and prevent it from touching anything. It is nice that it has a heat sink to keep it cool as the original one did not. Great little board and appears to be well built.

This does work and so far has not failed for me. However you do not get full voltage even when the control is all the way up. I lost 1.5volts to my motor. Also I noticed that the battery does a lot faster with this controller hooked up. I bought this to control the power going to my 2 year old sons big wheels that was too fast for him. Also polarity does matter. I accidentally hooked up the positive and negative wrong on the feed side and motor side and it did not work. I realized my mistake and the it worked fine.

Tested this when I first received it and it appeared to work ok. Using to control small DC motors, less than 3 amps on 9 volts. Unit failed the 3rd time I applied power to it. Fuse did not blow, the pot has lost the ability to control the output voltage. Output jumps to 9 volts after turning the pot about 5 degrees... and then actually drops as the pot is turned to the maximum (but only to about 8.5 volts). Components "appear" to be quality but their markings have been removed so I can't replace anything. Not out much $ but buyer beware...

UPDATE: The voltage drop at 100% output was not suitable for my application. Will keep it in my box of controls for another project.Intended use: control a 12v RV water pump to minimize pressure surging...Initial testing with just the module and the pump shows that the pump speed is controlled from stand still to close to full speed with the pot. Voltage measurements have the input voltage @ 12.55v and the module output at 11.15v at max output. Will have to wait for further testing to determine if the drop across the controller will be significant.I will update this review when it is plumbed in with pressure transducer & some additional electronics.
