Very hot cam, has fairly rough idle, needs .600 lift springs and 3000 converter to perform the best. Not great low end but screams past 3500 and up...Elgin has been around for many years and is a big mfg of OEM grade products and just as good or better as any other on the market. Any job is only as good as the associated parts needed to make it work correctly! A cam like this isn't a drop in, needs other performance upgrades to work correctly!Genesengineshop
