The digital anemometer eA990R is a feature-loaded little gadget that's perfect for hiking, mountaineering, sailing, golf, hunting, shooting, fishing, flying model planes, quads and drones, or any other outdoor activity. It is an airflow gauge, thermometer, hygrometer, barometer, and altimeter and combines 8 weather parameters into one small light-weight unit. Perfect for your bug out bag.
Simply press the power button, hold the anemometer into the wind or air flow you are measuring, and the device instantly starts displaying wind speed in mph.
Prefer different units? Press the Units button to cycle through mph, m/s, ft/min, knots, and km/h. Press the Mode button to display other weather parameters - wind chill, air temperature, humidity, heat index, dew point, barometric pressure, and pressure altitude. Pressing the Max button briefly several times cycles through max, min, and average readings since power-on.
Press Backlight button to turn the backlight on or off. A long press of the Backlight button freezes the current reading.

this thing just works. it does what it says it will do. At this price point, you are not going to do much better.

This does do what you expect. It is not incredibly accurate. You can do some calibration but only to a trusted source. If you want to calibrate wind speed, good luck. It requires a precisely calibrated wind source. All in all, it is a far from perfect get exactly what you pay for.

I love this Anemometer! It does what they say it does and it has ways to calibrate it... that are understandable.I could not figure out where the battery charge gauge was. I called, they called me back and helped me find it. It was working. Once they pointed it out, It made sense.At first they were concerned it was not working properly, and promised me a new one, in time for me to use it when I'd planed on taking it out. In order to do that, they would have to overnight it. Fortunately we did not have to go to that...
