About this item

  • Roasted Maple Neck and Roasted Mahogany Body:Roasted maple neck provides excellent stability and gorgeous caramel finish. The mahogany wood used for the body was also roasted for stronger mids and slightly lighter weight.
  • Hand Polished Stainless Steel Frets:Stainless steel frets provide unrivaled durability and smooth playing surface for nice and easy big bends. Each fret ends are also hand-dressed for playing comfortability.
  • U to C Compound Neck Profile and Compound Radius:CP1 has a unique U to C compound neck profile with a thicker shoulder on the lower frets, slowly tapers down to a slimmer C to higher frets. Along with a 9.5” to 14” compound fingerboard radius,CP1 provides excellent playability for both chording and soloing.
  • Special Wiring:Pull out the master tone knob to engage the bridge pickup bypass circuit for a hotter trebley tone. This unique wiring enables 7 different tones for more versatility.
  • Humbucker-Single Coil-Single Coil (HSS) Pickup Configuration:The HSS configuration is a tried-and-true combo for a large variety of tones and versatility. The bridge humbucker is perfect for higher gain tones while the neck and middle single coils provide clear note definition under overdrive.

After years with this guitar, it is a solid great feeling guitar that stays in tune with tremelo use. Some people knock the pickups, but they are cool through different amps (and digital). The bridge is Hot and the singles can get nice glassy tones. I got lucky and got a flamed neck. Build quality is awesome.

The picture of the guitar shows a green painted headstock. The one I received was wood stained. If that’s a problem you might consider another. Also the guitar is on the heavy side. The one I received was 8.2 lbs.Other than that the guitar was a great player.

Incredible brand for the price… some minors changes and an axe for Live Gigs…

Truly amazing Guitar, got it in Pink and it reminds me eerily of my Suhr Mateus Asato S style. You could easily upgrade a few things…sure? But you don’t have to at all. Got this for $304 after tax on sale. I’ll be buying more

Overall it was a good guitar but if you are a professional player that does studio sessions or play out; this guitar will need some work. The pickups were noisy and cheap. The first thing I had to do was shield the cavity and replace the ceramic pickups with alnico 5's. Now, my guitar is dead quiet and sounds much better. The action and setup was good for most players but I prefer a much lower action because I play with a light touch. I was able to lower the action a little to my liking. I noticed even though the fret job was pretty; there were a couple of frets that were slightly higher than the rest but not that much of a issue. My only complaint was that the description said that the Master Volume is a push/pull that activates a special circuit and that it totally untrue for my instrument. I have a straight volume knob. Don't try to do extreme bends with the tremolo or it won't go back in complete tune. For a beginner and for practice; this is a great guitar that can grow with the player and get upgrades to handle any playing situation.

It has similar appointments of the nick Johnston signature schecter (roasted maple, s body,, hss, spoke wheel truss rod, etc) but half the price. The playability is excellent at any price point. The eart signature fret work is perfect. The only place it falls short is the neck and middle pickups, but at this price point, it's not really something you wouldn't already expect. I could do without the metal knows. They feel very solid, but kind of ruin the vintage look. Good buy though, I very much enjoy this

Absolute steal, with caveat for me, weight. It is 9lbs and I have back issues, so if you do as well, this may not work well. Beyond weight, I did a pro setup before returning, that way who ever buys the used guitar can rock out of the box. Now the truss rod and saddle height needed some adjustments, that's all. The frets are superb, leveled and polished near perfect, neck is chunky bit grows on you. The pickups sound good, especially the single coils, but the humbucker is just ok. Still not the best. Trem works smoothly, but to stay in tune, locking tuners, lubed nut are necessary. Very resonant acoustically. One fail was the treble bleed, sounds like just a cap and it becomes radio brittle quick. Worth a buy, if the weight isn't an issue.
