The cv axle works great and overall is fairly easy to install. This was definitely the lowest priced but good quality cv axle that I could find for our 2008 polaris sportsman 500 x2 four wheeler.

I purchased two of these for my 2012 Polaris Sportsman Touring 500 H.O. They fit perfectly. They're also thicker and more beefier than the OEM Stock ones. Took maybe 2 hours to remove and replace the old OEM ones. So far I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. I recommend these shafts if you're in the market for replacing your STOCK (OEM) ones. Both of my stock shafts broke clean in half while mud riding and hill climbing. I have confidence these should hold up to the rigorous strain of mud riding, hill climbing and everyday use.
