This is a pretty decent seat post for its cost. But the weight that's published is wildly inaccurate. The product description says, "weight: 6.4 oz", which is less than 180g. The actual weight is just over 268g.... 50% more than the advertised weight.

This is one of the lightest mid-range seat posts you can get. To get lighter than this you will have to go in the $100+ price range or carbon. Mine weighed about 260g according to my Kitchen Scale of Truth which is in line with the manufacturers specs. It's not the most intuitive in how you adjust the seat angle....it's very simplistic and manual...but this is probably where some of the weight savings come from.
