Purchased off of the manufacturer website. A little knowledge is power. To the people who complain about the short shelf life and claim that it's not listed in the listing, well that's their ignorance of the technology. On the can it says 2K catalyzed that's all the explanation someone really needs. 2K will always have a short shelf life because it is essentially an epoxy. It is catalyzed after all. This means that one chemical is introduced to another to begin a curing action. Once air is introduced the curing will happen faster however while it is in the can you have about 48hrs working time, I wouldn't wait that long to use it personally. But be ready to use it all or at least have everything ready to have the paint applied once you pop that red button. For the one-star reviews, the product is not the problem, it's the peoples' ignorance of the technology that is the problem.

I bought this product 18 months before using it because my project was placed on hold. I was concerned about the shelf life, so wasn't sure what to expect. I kept it in a closet in our home for temperature control. I was pleased to see it perform perfectly! I did shake it for about 5 minutes to ensure the paint was well mixed before releasing the hardener, then shook it another 5 minutes. The 3 base coats went on beautifully over the epoxy primer. I finished it with 3 coats of clear. The paint has a super nice fine metallic appearance and matches the stock Mopar Rallye wheel color perfectly to my eye.

All I have to say is that I am VERY happy with how this paint laid down on my wheels. The coverage is great, and I felt that even in places where I laid it on heavy and expected to have a run in the paint, it laid down very flat. I would recommend using a gray primer first to assist with coverage. I used one can per wheel on my 20x10 wheels, one light coat and a second heavy coat front and back. Definitely worth every penny, and I expect it will hold up well being a 2 part paint.

I needed this for some touch up. Surprised to read on the can that the product is not useable anymore 48hrs after initial use (not noted in listing that I could find. Eastwood makes returns difficult, would not recommend.
