Your cart is empty. The new EBC Yellowstuff compound is essentially a race pad but with a big difference in that it works from cold and can be safely used on the highway. If you want the ultimate in high friction braking this is the pad to choose. Brakes feel superb from first touch of the pedal and stay effective up to race temperatures. Maximum stopping is prime requirement and for short duration track use. Its dust rating is similar to OEM parts. All pads come with edge chamfers, center line slots, noise reduction shims and OEM hardware as needed. All EBC pads feature the EBC brake in surface coating which helps pads seat quickly after install.

Use on a Jeep with over sized tires. May have stopped a little better but noisy and they are eating the rotors. A friend has same Jeep equipped the same, stops as good or better and no noise and not eating the rotors. We don't know what it has for brake pads but pretty sure they just a parts store pad.

I have had them on for 250 miles (so that I could perform the initial break-in period) and the pads stop very well, much better than the stock or cheap replacements from most auto stores, so they are great on that account. The extra brake dust is mildly annoying but that is worth it for better brakes and they wheels can be washed more frequently. However, I find the squealing extremely annoying and am waiting for that to hopefully end soon. I do not understand why it has to be this bad for so long. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't such a loud squeal but if I had realized it was going to be this bad, I would have sucked it up and gotten the Black Magic Brakes and called it a day. Even though these stop very well, enough so that I only took one star off for the aggravation, I will go with the BMB next time.

did not fit 2005 jeep wrangler. Had to pound with 3 pound hammer that broke the brake pad up. Other review said yellow paint was to thick that prevented pads from sliding on like they should have.

So far so good. Great upgrade from my factory pads. Have about 1000 miles on them so far and they def stop better and help me slow down my 33s a little better. The fit fairy well and had good tension to hold in place and sit properly on the slides. The only issue I ran into was the caliper Pistons on my 98 Tj had to be pushed ALL the way in otherwise it wouldn't slide over the rotor, which was already used so it wasn't new and thick. The rotors were used for about 5k miles so I scuffed em up and cleaned em good and performed the proper brake in procedure. I'd recommend not going mudding or anything of that such before you properly bed them in around 200 miles of driving with them.Over all for the price I got em on Amazon for and the performance I gained I couldn't beat it.Yes they are dustier than regular pads, but they stop from freeway speeds a lot sooner with less brake pedal depression.I'd recommend them.I'll update as I put miles on them.Update :Have about 25k miles on them and they are still effective. They have about 20-25% life left. They still brake decent and sometimes they squeek. I've been through hell and high water with them (mud, sand, snow, deep water etc) and they still operated fine during all those conditions.Personally I think they are a great upgrade. Biggest draw back seems to be their life and they're pretty dusty. Not a huge deal. I'd probably buy them again.

Best in the business for the 90/10 on/off-road split usage for my Jeep LJ. I have these front and rear now, and 15k miles into them they work excellent and no squeals. They do produce a bit of brake dust, but they are an aggressive pad. Definitely a purchase I will make again. I previously ran Hawk pads and they are a step below these EBC pads.

I’ve been working on Jeeps for over 45 years now and must say I am disappointed in the quality of these pads. The pretty paint job is thick enough to not allow the indexing pin to fit into the caliper hole and requires removal of the paint around the pin. The really scary part is the retaining clips have no tension on them. The “spring steel” clips were so loose they would not stay on the caliper. I literally bent them further toward the pad with my fingers. They do stop well.

After the original shipment was several days late, Amazon sent me a replacement order and I just installed the pads on the front of my 2006 LJ Rubicon (and Centric Premium rotors). When I placed the order, I had no idea if Amazon sold the pads per WHEEL or per AXLE. The price seemed very high if the selling unit was two pads for one wheel, but I ordered two units anyway thinking if I bought enough pads to do the rear axle also (**see edit note), that would be okay. So, how many pads do you get if you order two units? Answer: eight pads or obviously enough to do both axles (**see edit note). So the pads are sold per axle and not per wheel.**Edit note 3/19/2013 - these will ONLY fit the front axle**I'll post a follow up report on the pad's performance.Update: July 23, 2011The pads (and the Centric Premium rotors) are a great combination and I'll estimate I have maybe 20% better stopping power. This is of course highly subjective, but I'm certain the braking performance is improved over the stock rotors and non-premium pads. However the combination squeaks badly after about two hours on the trails no matter how much or how little I'm on the brakes.Update: March 19, 2013I've moved on from the EBC pads and installed the Vanco Big Brake kit and Black Magic pads from Blaine @Savvy - it is a step up in braking performance from the EBC pads and Centric rotors (but it's also about a kilobuck!)

These are the very best brake pads you can buy for your Jeep. This specific p/n fits the fronts of Jeep Wrangler Rubicons. And if you should scroll down and see a "Frequently Bought Together" deal with Centric Preminum Cryo Rotors (p/n 120.67045), jump on it. You can't do better especially if you wheel your Jeep Rubicon (off road) as I do. The stopping power provided by both these pads and rotors on road and off, is exactly what you need (especially if you're running 35" or less tires. I run 33" aggressive mud tires).
