First, the light is not bright, making riding at night unsafe. Second, when the pedal assist kicks in, the light dims even more, making it more of a safety issue. I rate this as junk.

The wiring for the light is wrong and none of the circuits close, so in function, the light doesn't power, the horn the sound. I can fix On my own but it should come wired correctly.

* I installed the light successfully. It runs off my 36 volt ebike battery.* Switching the light on/off is done by the ebike controller, so there is no on/off switch on this headlight. This is fine and expected. No problem there.* The headlight housing contains only 1 LED, which is why the headlight is very dim. This is baffling, since the device is intended to run off a massive 36V ebike battery -- no need to conserve power. So why have just one LED? It should have at least 5 of the same type, in my opinion. Very disappointed.* There is no reflector around the LED. Behind the front lens is nothing but wires and circuit board. Nothing reflective. It works-ish? Another sign that they cut corners by removing normal headlight components from the design.It's on my bike, so I'll keep it, but given the choice, I definitely would not buy one like this again.

I purchased this light to add to a bike that I converted to an e-bike with a thousand watt motor and controller purchased on Amazon.I found that my controller had a circuit for a headlight with a study on voltage ,48 V with this light I was able to open it up and add a micro switch to properly control the light. (Note) there was room inside to work. Light is plenty bright!
