So, hubby's niece wanted a sword for her 6th birthday, and the Funcle was happy to oblige. Bonus because it was exactly like her Karate Sensei's practice sword, so she was over the moon.

This is an excellent training weapon. Cheap, sturdy, and balanced well enough. Great for teaching children iadio pre apocalypse. Scabbard is surprisingly sturdy as well.

I got this for my child since he was prone to taking my decorative swords off of the stand to play with them. This thing has held up great. He wacks trees, and weeds.....his sister. It's very sturdy and exactly what I was looking for.

The prop is solid, and the plastic blade can be easily colored with a sharpie (will be seeing how the grip fares soon!). However, there is a ton of rattling when the blade moves around in the sheath. If you're planning on using this for cosplay, you may want to devise a solution for reducing or removing the excess noise (and please share your method with me)!
