I was skeptical after reading some 1-star reviews but decided to give them a shot anyway. I've developed swimmer's ear over the past few years so getting water in my left ear when I wash my hair has been painful (I have very long hair so only wash every 4-5 days).Here's the trick: You have to stretch them out and place them fully over the ear. Over the lobe, the top, around the back and the front. If you hurry, you won't get a good fit, so take your time, use a mirror if you can to guide you. Today I kind of rushed putting it on and I didn't get my ear fully covered.If you have very, very large ears, I'm not sure these will be of use as they only stretch so far. But for normal-sized ears, these will work fine. I can already tell they won't work for swimming, but for the shower or getting your hair done, I think they are so helpful. Also, they aren't expensive, and you get a ton of them. I've used one of them twice, but you don't have to do that. I"m glad I bought them!

These disposable ear covers comes with a great value with 300 in a pack.They’re lightweight, waterproof, and perfect for protecting ears during showering to prevent from getting ears infection hair dyeing. Very usefulThe 5.5-inch size fits well for most. Anyway I wish it could be more durable or thicker.

Our granddaughter had her adenoids removed and tube's put in. These she says are very comfy when she showers. Doesn't allow any water to get in.Love the ease of putting on and disposable once removed.

I use the disposable ear covers with a loose earplug to help "mask" sounds at night I get from tinnitus in my right ear.These covers are a good set, in that you get a lot of them (300 units), and they come with drawstring-storage bag that's designed to be re-usable. The ear covers are also compact so you have to unfold them, and they also have an elastic band to help keep the covers on your ear.For me the problems are the cover is a little on the smaller side. I'm 5' 10" and the covers fit a little too tight around the ear and I can feel the elastic pull after a while. My other covers I was using didn't have the elastic band that tight.But for shower-use perhaps a tighter elastic band would be desirable for you.The covers are also on the smaller side - they barely fit around my ear. So these covers are ideally better for a woman with smaller-sized ears (I'm 5' 10" male for comparison) or better fit for children.The plastic material of the covers is also a little thinner than my prior covers. The first cover I unfolded and expanded tore easily. But if these covers are for shower-use the thinness of the plastic should not cause a problem as long as it's protective.But those issues are likely due to my size and strength, so I can't really take off from the review score for those aspects.Other than that these ear covers seem to be a decent product for a smaller-sized person.

Now we can be worry free for dying hairs as our ears protected from being colored and messy and can be used for showering

The description of this ear cover states it is waterproof and for use in the shower. When I showered with these on my ears, they filled with water, and my ears were wet. They were like little plastic bags filled with water. These ear covers also are very small. I do not recommend these and am returning them.
