The bar itself is amazing, easy to install, looks great/ works great. The back rest however did not hold up, after a few weeks of riding the zipper part split and no longer worked. We just replaced the back pad.

Struts are slightly bent. The bar has offset holes. If you drill it, the paint might come Off.In order to fit the sissy bar, you need to remove the fender reflective strips. The cushion is a very cheap made, also poor screws fitting.Screws too long, need to be adjusted.Overall the product is good made with a few issues and needs some adjustments.Seller very responsive to my claims.

Install on a Suzuki S40. Like the looks, I did have to modified a few stuff but I was expecting it and honestly it was supper easy. Price is on target and the quality is acceptable, for the price I said excellent. I use more to hold my cargo than passenger but nobody has complain.

Product is prerty much what I expected for the price. It works good but the hardware is cheap and it didnt come with rubber washers to protect the fender but a quick trip to the hardware store fixed that.

Looks mean af, not too hard to install but not as easy as a quick release obviously, seems sturdy enough but not sure. I mostly use it for looks and to strap my duffle bag to it.

Overall I'd say it's a good value for the money. What that means is you can't expect to receive a perfect, top quality product. I mainly needed a sissy bar for a long distance trip so when this one popped up on Amazon I purchased it with the expectation that there would be some sort of issues with it. I was not mistaken, but the bar worked very well for what I needed it for.First the Pro's:1. The matte black finish on everything was pretty good. Not scratched, no run marks, or un-even finish.2. The bar was sturdy. I tied down A LOT to this bar and it held up very well on an 1100 mile trip ranging from 80mph on the freeway to twisting through the Blue Ridge Parkway. It mounted firmly to the bike and didn't move around. I was confident that it would hold everything I tied to it.3. Designed to be easily installed (but fit/finish made it more difficult in practice: see con's below). And I think it looks pretty good on the bike. Now the Con's:1. Fit and finish leaves something to be desired. You will have to notch or bore out the holes for the wiring to go through because the pre-drilled holes are too small for the rear light electrical connectors to fit through. I would recommend cutting notches from under the holes as this will allow you to slide the mounting plates over the wires without having to completely remove the wires from the bike. I didn't have a vice or saw to cut it so I had to completely remove the rear wires and bore the holes out. Even after it all the holes didn't match up perfectly so I had to shimmy things around to fit the wires back through while mounting. This added a significant amount of time to installation. Knowing the wiring holes don't exactly line up and need to be cut before hand would have saved me a lot of time as I would have been able to modify it before trying to put it on the bike.2. The mounting plate for the back rest was welded to the back side of the bar instead of the front making it impossible to mount with the provided screws (too short). I didn't get it to be a passenger backrest primarily so it wasn't a deal breaker for me but if you want it for 2 up riding you'll need to buy longer screws, or cut the mounting bracket off and weld it on the front; or cross your fingers that mine was the only fluke in the bunch. (Based on the bar only costing $65 they probably are trying to off-load their factory screw ups). Again, I didn't need the pad so not a big deal for me.3. A little knit-picky, but I wish the mounting hardware came in black instead of chrome, it would blend in much better.
