Q: How to map my home for the first time? How to start Quick Mapping?

A: (1) Connect with the ECOVACS HOME App; (2) Unattach the mopping pad plates; (3) Let the robot start from the basestation; (4) Say to DEEBOT: "OK YIKO, start Quick Mapping or tap Start Quick Mapping in the App / Normal mapping via an AUTO cleaning cycle.

Q: Why does DEEBOT N10 not start auto-emptying when it returns to the docking station?

A: (1) Ensure the docking station is connected to the power source; (2) Ensure the docking station's power cord is connected and plugged into the socket correctly; (3) Please ensure that the disposable dust bag is fitted correctly; (4) Please ensure that the dust container lid is closed; (5) Auto-emptying will not start when Do Not Disturb mode is enabled in the settings; (6) Auto-emptying will not start if you move DEEBOT back to the docking station by hand; it is only triggered when DEEBOT returns automatically; (7) The charging pins on the docking station may be dirty. Please try to clean with a dry paper towel and try again; If the problem persists, please contact ECOVACS Service.

Q: Why DEEBOT keeps saying anti drop sensor malfunction

A:(1) Please look at the bottom of the machine, brush both sides and the front of the Universal Wheel, close to the bottom edge, there are Anti-Drop Sensors, wipe it with a Clean Cloth; (2) If the problem persists, reset the Deebot. Please kindly notice after resetting, the schedule, map, old record on the APP will be lost and it needs to re-connect to the wifi; If the problem persists, please contact ECOVACS Service.

Q: Why DEEBOT cannot find the charging dock

A: Place DEEBOT about 1 meter directly in front of the charging dock, press and hold the AUTO button for 3 seconds to hear the "Returning to the Charging Dock" voice prompt, or open the App and tap on Return mode to check whether the robot can return to charge. If it can return to charge normally, please: (1) Check whether all the protective film on the charging dock has been removed; (2) Check whether DEEBOT starts cleaning from the charging dock; (3) Check whether the charging dock is positioned according to the guidelines in the Instruction Manual; (4) Move the charging dock to another position and try again.

Q: Why DEEBOT get lost in the middle and how should I fix it.

A: Please wait for a few seconds patiently, DEEBOT may be planning routes and areas. If it is still happened, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot: (1) The Anti-Drop Sensors on the bottom of DEEBOT may be covered with dust; Wipe the Anti-Drop Sensors with provided Cleaning Tool to maintain their effectiveness. (2) The Driving Wheels may be tangled with hair or debris; Use the provided Cleaning Tool to cut off and remove any hair/debris tangled around the Driving Wheels. (3) The Bumper rail may be stuck. Press each side of the bumper rail to see if it rebounds automatically. If the problem persists, please contact ECOVACS Service.

So far it holds up to the shed of a husky. The mopping is okay if you're not cleaning up a big spill. Some items that are particularly flat have difficulty being picked up by suction. You may need to run the cleaning process a few times but it's still better than manual labor. It's not too loud that my dog or the resident cat hate it but I'm sure indivual results will vary. I noticed the cheaper robots dont have the self emptying charging station so this was pretty decent. Mine is set to auto clean daily. When I come home my floors are clean. You can control and monitor the vacuum anywhere in the world as long as you have a network connection. That's pretty cool. The app is kind of a mess but it works. There's built in ads to upgrade but it is what it is. Overall I do like this vacuum and the Ecovacs brand. One amusing thing I've noticed is the robot is able to detect the cat when she's hiding under the bed and shows up as a little blip on the map.

Do NOT waste your money! Spins in circles, mapping does not work, does not keep charge, mop pads do not stick to deebot. Wish I could get my money back!

We have had this little Deebot N10 Plus vacuum for a month now. Set up was easy even though the instructions or the app are lacking detailed explanations. During the initial mapping of the floor plan, it got “lost” causing it to start mapping at about a 45 degree angle. After moving the robot back to the base and restarting it, it was able to successfully complete the full mapping process.Since then, it has refined the mapping and now completes the cleaning process about 25% faster than the first few cleanings.It did get stuck on some wires under the beds as well as a phone charging cord. After using some tires to secure the wires up off the floor and creating virtual boundaries around other obstacles, it has run without any problems.The auto empty function works flawlessly and there is no noticeable dust around the base indicating that it is not leaking or blowing dirt out in to the room during the process.We do not use the mopping function. We have new carpet and do not want to have it running a mop pad across the carpet.We use this robot on daily schedule of high traffic areas every day and bedrooms every other day. We have noticed a reduction in the frequency that we need to dust our furniture.We realize that we will still need to use a traditional vacuum to get the areas the robot cannot reach and we don’t expect it to clean along the walls as well as a traditional vacuum. We knew that when making this purchase. That said, this robot has exceeded our expectations and is one of the best appliance purchases we have ever made.This is a very good value for the price, $350. Were highly recommend the Deebot N10 plus.

This little bot is perfect for a small home owner like me. The dust bag can hold a lot. The only thing I wish it had is the option to choose to mop some rooms but not other. I have a mixed carpet and floor setup. My workaround is to just detach the mop tray on some days and attach it back on when I do want mopping and choose the rooms I want to mop.

$500 and 1 year later and the thing is going to end up in the trash. Can’t believe they are charging $650 for it now. There are so many times I referred to this thing as the “stupid” robot vacuum.Problems:1. Literally doesn’t pick anything up a year after purchasing it2. Auto empty function never worked3. Mop feature was fine but barely touched the floor4. Constantly getting stuck or trapped (despite me clearing any obstructions every day)5. Vacuum does not stay connected to the appSave your money and buy literally anything else
