Just got it and am putting in my new gheenoe this week. Connected it to a battery to test it and it works exactly as it should. Can't discuss longevity but will update my review if there are any problems. I have had numerous bilge pumps in different boats over my lifetime and this seems very robust and should have no problems.

Product replaces a more expensive automatic pump. I check on rain level often in boat so no need for a more expensive pump that does same function. Easy installation, hose fits from previous pump and no clogging from tree debris so far.

LA MEJOR bomba de achique que he tenido.Aparte de que se le desensambla la rejilla de abajo, se puede desarmar exponiendo las aspas para limpiarlas.

I'm giving four stars only because it works and pumps fast,,,, but not like it should work, and as others have said, a very strange not ordinary sized outlet tubing size!1) the outlet pipe matches no boat I've ever owned, no problem, heated up smaller hose with a torch and made it fit with a hose clamp, but not even close to the normal sized through hull output on my boat, whatever, I just run the hose over the transom!2) The float switch didn't work right off the bat! Never shuts off!!!! Yes there was some junk in bottom of boat, but I opened the pump up and there was absolutely nothing blocking the float switch from working right! And no there was no foam shipping block inside stopping the switch from operating correctly!Prognosis, I won't bother to go through the hassle of returning and waiting for replacement as my boat is literally docked feet from my door and I can monitor water buildup in it easily,,,, But!If it has a float switch the damn thing should work at least when it's brand new!!!! Argh!

I do a lot on the water and have various boats and amphibians which need auto-bilge pumps. I am impressed with this model's performance. Good volume and reliability. I can and have left craft in the water for great lengths of time and always find the bilges pumped on my return. (Note: I do leave a trickle charge solar panel on each battery.)

I have not installed this pump yet because it did not fit into the bilge (about a quarter inch too tall...ugh). However, it removed the standing water rapidly, and was quiet. I am installing it at a higher location to assist with emergency pumping should we get into more dire dewatering needs, while installing a far lower profile sort of pump in the planned location for this one. I historically have not seen this style of pump last in actual use for longer than a couple years, and many don't make it that long. I am unsure if it is the infrequent nature of their use, saltwater damage, or just that the design itself is flawed, but if your bilge stays dusty, I guess it does not matter, so long as the pump works when it is pressed into service. When I did wire this up temporarily, though, it was instantly effective at what it is supposed to do - dewatering the bilge. I did not give a longevity rating because I cannot do that fairly with no permanent install or failure yet.

Easy to install. Nice pump and float system but it leaves 2” of water in bilge. Yes 2 plus in when the float turns off. That’s a lot of water
