This remote control is virtually useless. It seems to work fine for activating a linear actuator in either direction, but very inconsistent at stopping the motor, resulting in very undependable operation. I replaced this unit with one from a different supplier and ended the irritation. Buyer beware.

This controller worked straight out of the box! No programming just wire it up and go! I highly recommend!

Found it to be intermittent using the supplied transmitter. I tried different distances but always the same. Returning for replacement and will update when I get the replacement. UPDATE... The replacement came in and does the same thing. The problem is that there's a delay between the button being pushed and the receiver processing the command so you need to long push each button. For example, if you press and release as you would your tv controller it misses about 30% of the time. To fix it, you need to long press the buttons so each push needs to last a full second. Then it hits each time. The reason this is important is that in my application I don't see the roof vent opening unless I go outside.

I installed this on a chicken house door and it works perfectly. Love the one press button and a second press to stop. Been using more than a year now with zero issues

The unit is fine and functions as described.I am writing this so others can understand what is needed if you want to use two limit switches to control the extend and retract limit using the M and N terminals. You will need two NPN NC limit switches and two diodes (I used 1N54xx diodes I had on hand).Wire the brown wire from your sensor to the + input power to the controller and the blue sensor wire to the - input controller terminal. The black wire from the sensor goes to the M or N terminal. The M terminal controls the extend limit and N controls the retract. Between the sensor and M or N terminals you need to put your diode so current can only travel to the controller. When the sensor is tripped it will open and travel will stop, you can then press the opposite direction button, A or B and it will travel until it hits the other sensor.I incorrectly assumed that there would be an internal diode and had trouble getting to work until I diagnosed with a multimeter.Anyway, I hope this helps someone.

The hardware works perfect. I'm very happy with the product. But I had a question for the manufacturer and it took them several days to get back to me and when they did they didn't even answer my question they ask me what my order number was so that they could go review to make sure I actually bought the product. I got back to them a couple days later after searching for my order number. And they got back to me for days later with an apology cuz they didn't understand my very clear question. I realized that I wasn't going to get help from them and sought out my answer from YouTube which I found and everything is fine.
