Step 1: Open your Wii console, insert 2 AA batteries (not included) into the wii remote then turn on remote;
Step 2: Press SYNC button in the remote controller;
Step 3: Press the red button in the wii console in a short time.
Connection is successful when only 1 light are on (press "reset" in wii console if 4 lights do not stop flashing, repeat steps 2 and 3).
❤If the connection is lost, please check:
1. If the battery voltage is below 2.3V, the connection may be broken. Please change to new batteries;
2. The batteries could be loose;
3. Please do not place the controller too close or too far from the Wii host. Keep the distance within 196 inchs.
4. You can try holding down the red button on the back of the controller (SYNC button) and the SYNC button on the Wii console once again.
❤Advanced Connecting instruction:
If the wii remote cannot be connected to the wii console according to the above method, please try the following method.
(1) Clean up the previous Bluetooth connection of your console.
(2) Press the power switch of the Wii Console for more than 4 seconds.
(3) After confirming that the power light turns red,unplug the AC adapter.
(4) Please unplug the battery of the Wii remote and wait for about 1 minute.
(5) Please plug in the AC adapter.
(6) Insert the battery into the Wii remote control and press the power switch of the Wii Console.
(7) Simultaneously press the red sync button on the Wii Console and Wii remote.

The 1 and 2 buttons D pad and the B button are no where near as responsive as an official nintendo controller. the motion controls and pointer as good as the nintendo ones. the 1 and 2 buttons have a slight delay aswell as the d pad. the B button has to be pressed directly in the center or it will not respond quickly.

Work like the original ones did, when they worked. I don't have Motion Plus capable games so I can't speak to that but for the rest of the games - Wii Sports, Mario Cart, Super Mario Brothers, etc., they work great.

the remotes worked well for the first couple weeks we had them, but then the black remote randomly died. We only used said remote approximately 5 times over the course of the couple weeks we had it. it won't light up at all. I tried changing the battery and it lit up but wouldn't connect. I am deeply disappointed in this shoddy product. Of course, the return window seems to have expired. Do better, amazon.

These are the second set of replacement Wii controllers we got. They work very well…not quite as good as the originals, but much better than the first set we tried and needed to return.

After reading all the reviews of remotes with built in Motion Plus, I settled on these. The buttons have a springy feel compared to another set I have where the buttons feel mushy and have a short travel. Tested the motion plus on a few rounds of Tiger Woods PGA 10. They work great. Easy to connect. The battery compartments were a little stiff. Had to really push the batteries in there. Working great so far.

Was really excited to get these replacements for when friends want to play with us. However the quality of the sensors are not as good as the name brand that came with the system.
