It is used where more plenum volume or more carburetor-to-plenum floor distance is required. This 1 inch thick aluminum Performer divided-wall spacer fits dual-plane intake manifolds. This carburetor spacer insulates or tunes carburetor/manifold power band. It has a natural finish.

fits like a glove blocking the EGR port and deleting the emissions on truck and allowing a none EGR carb to be usedI have a 1987 ford short bed 4x4 my father bought new and it is now my truck and I deleted the emissions a few years ago (older than 25 years)by using a edelbrock intake and that worked fine but even the basic performer raised the carb height making the breather a tight fit and right now i am installing a Long block and wanted to return to the factory 4v intake as this is a simple stock build and a truck for pulling my boat to the lake and this 1" spacer is the perfect replacement to delete the EGR spacer and still fit with factory carb studs and nuts ............................ motor install is not finished just yet but should be starting it up this weekend

The spacer worked great to cover up the egr port on my factory 351w. It was nice not having to use the stock egr spacer. Much cleaner look.
