Your cart is empty.The Edelbrock Carburetor Spacer allows the spacing of carburetors above the intake flange to increase plenum area for more torque and horsepower. This wood carburetor spacer includes heat-insulating phenolic fiber. It insulates and tunes your carburetor and manifolds power band. This spacer extends the length of the intake mixture column to improve air and fuel distribution. There are two different styles of spacers with distinctively different benefits. The open plenum design increases plenum volume for improved high RPM power and the divided-wall design increases the air and fuel mixture velocity for improved low-speed and mid-range torque. This high-tech, 4-hole wood carburetor spacer measures 1 in thickness and can withstand extreme temperatures.

Edelbrock used to make good stuff. They're now just another company selling cheap china knock-offs. This package comes with 2 inch studs.... for a 1 inch spacer.... Think it through, 3/4in goes into the intake, the spacer takes 1 inch, the carb base takes 3/8 inch. That 2 1/8 inch. 1/8 inch short. And we haven't added the gaskets yet. And still need to get a washer and nut on there too. At an absolute bare minimum they are 3/8 inch short. Even a 2 1/2 inch stud will be close. Charging $65 for this POS is ridiculous in it's self. Now have to go spend another $20 for the studs they should have sent correctly in the 1st place. I think I'm done with Edelbrock all together. I can get the EXACT same stuff, from the exact same Chinese factory for much less money. And Edelbrock won't have to bother repackaging and charging me for the name only.

Everything worked as it should. Great kit if you need a 1 inch open spacer.

the spacer is excellent and does what it claims but the studs supplied are for the half inch spacer. so when you try to install it, you have to have the correct studs on hand or you cannot complete the task.

Previous had a 2 barrel. Converted to 4 barrel. Have not figured out throttle linkage so have not run it to know what effect it makes.

This plenum spacer works very well. It kept my carb from getting to hot and boiling the gas.

The stud mounting kit in the package was for a 1/2” spacer. Just lost the whole morning because now I have to try and find longer studs locally. If I can’t find them then I’ll have wasted a day trying to get this job done. This was too expensive to not come with the right hardware!

I instales this on an edlebrock dual plane intake on a 383 gm sbc stroker. I was having small issues with fuel after the car got to operating temperature. After I installed this I noticed a significant temperature drop from the intake to the carburator. The carburator is an edlebrock 600 cfm 1406 series and there is no interference with the butterflies.
