This trolling motor replaced a Motorguide trolling motor similarly priced. The Minn Kota is much better and was easier to install

This is 3rd MinnKota troll motor I have owned over the years. I replace a 12 volt edge 45 with This 24 volt model and the difference is like night and day. I pull current in NE Ar. quite often and this motor does not look back. I have trolled several hours with this motor in heavy current with very little battery drain. Granted some will not need the power of the 24 volt but it is there if you should need it.
