Your cart is empty.EAS Universal Turbo Timer part # 98604 is designed for all diesel engines except it is not compatible with Dodge 2006-2012 Cummins diesel models. A turbo timer is a device designed to keep an engine running for a pre-specified period of time or until a specific temperature is reached in order to automatically execute the cool-down period required to prevent premature turbo wear and failure. This also allows the lubricating oil from the engine to circulate properly so the turbine won't burn the lubricating oil that would otherwise be trapped within the charger with the turbine rotating at high speed. The Edge Accessory System (EAS) was created with future expandability in mind. The architecture of the EAS allows users to connect multiple accessories, daisy-chain style, to the CS and CTS platform. The ability to daisy-chain multiple accessories using the EAS allows users to monitor and display dozens of parameters on a single device. Turbo timers are only available to work with the CS and CTS product lines. In order to use the turbo timer you must have an EAS Starter kit. EAS Starter kits come with all Juice w/ Attitude CS and CTS products and the EAS Starter Kit w/ Expandable EGT.

if you have purchased the EGT probe on top of getting this product you can have it set to the temperature. Some people will tell you that they would make a quick trip and the vehicle is still running and they would have to wait for the vehicle to shut down before they can start it back up again. I am saying set this up the right way and you will not have a problem with it at all, I have my shutdown set for 350 deg. on the EGT probe and it shuts down right when it hits that temperature. I would say don't set it up on a long timer which it is capable of doing. Spend some extra money and get the EGT probe with this. Your engine will love you for it. LOVE the product and I recommend it.

It is great to pull up stop, turn off the truck, lock it up and walk away and when it cools to the pyrometer temp you set and it shuts the truck off for you. With synthetic oil my high dollar turbo will last forever. This was an accessory to my Edge programmer. It is the coolest accessory I have ever bought.

information about the three wires are poor does not explain properly wherelse the wires ccould be connected to if the fuse box is not as shown on diagram. Was working at the beginning but now not cannot figure out why did all what the instruction shows respond from company poor.

Very nice to be able to hook up extras that my trucks OBDII pretty didn't actually monitor. I found it to be somewhat expensive however.

Love it. Could not be easier to install on my 2015 F250 powerstroke. Plug it into the universal adapter, then into the fusebox and tell the Edge at what temperature to turn her off and that's it. I didn't even have to drill a hole in the firewall because the wire harness has a rubber grommet that you can add wires to that already goes right where you need to go. Must have for any powerstroke owner.

This was a great add-on to my Edge CTS system. However, the instructions are not entirely accurate. Very easy to install (3 wires: 1 - 12v constant pwr/1 - 12 v ignition pwr/1- run 12v pwr). I own a 2004 F250 6.0L PSD, the first wire/fuse it says install is the constant 12v using fuse #2. Well, fuse #2 is not used on my vehicle and is not wired to be used according to the owner manual, so using a multi-meter and my electronics background, I did some checking to find a 12v constant 10a fuse I could use. I used my left low beam light. The system seems to work fine at first. But then it only worked sometimes. I did an exchange with Amazon (which was great and very easy by the way). After installing the replacement and it not working, it dawned on me....the low beam is in fact not a 12v constant unless the lights are on. My light switch is always left in the AUTO position, so that explains why the Turbo time worked only sometimes.....du-huh (picture me slapping my own forehead with my hand at this point!) The lights were on when it worked. Sorry Amazon for EAS not giving accurate instructions and causing you and I extra work. But I could easily see someone without electrical knowledge installing this and burning something up. EAS fix your instructions!!!One BIG Negative on this setup however: the 3 10a fuse wire connections are hard-wired to the fuse, so what is one to do if/when one of those fuses blow? I've not seen where you can simply purchase those as replacement items.

Super easy to install. Works perfect. Will recommend. Arrived very fast. Will recommend to any Edge Products user. Not my primary option, but is worth to have it.
