It works under normal operation. But the moment you turn on the Starlink snow melt preheat option, It instantly burnt out a $2500 antenna. It will never work again.

Anything to remember is to use the correct cables or the odds of you damaging your system are up there. So make sure you have the proper dish which is the high performance one in order to use this kit. With that being said it does everything as advertised . I'm not going to go through the same thing that all the other reviews do.Installation is simple if you follow all the instructions.Until We Meet Again-Off The Grid Ken

I'm assuming that everyone here knows what a PoE Injector does? Short story: a PoE (power over Ethernet) injector allows you to take two inputs (eg: power and data) and transfer them over a single cable (eg: an Ethernet cable). This means you don't need separate power supplies and outlets for networked devices like routers. This specific PoE injector works with a Starlink satellite Internet system, specifically the High Performance kit. It has all sorts of built in protections: surge, undervoltage, overvoltage, and overcurrent protection. This way you won't fry your equipment, damage your Starlink or some other nasty outcome. It even has built in lightning protection which is particularly helpful if you're using the Starlink/PoE Injector in a remote outdoor setting. Highly recommended!

I've been using this converter for about 6 weeks now, and the performance is really good. It has clearly instead my speed and performance, and it's done so without having to invest in high performance cables. The unit itself isn't overheating or melting anything - which I have had happen - and set up was crazy easy. It's small and unobtrusive.

This Starlink PoE injector kit is a great solution for powering your Starlink setup, especially if you need to extend the reach of your Dishy cable. The 320W output provides ample power for the High Performance and Flat High Performance models, and the included adapter allows you to connect your Starlink cable directly to an RJ45 port. The DC step-up converter is a convenient addition, allowing you to power the injector using a 12V DC source. Highly recommended for anyone looking to optimize their Starlink setup.

The cable adapter from the EDUPs Store came nicely packed. It took some time to install but works as advertised and I'm pretty happy with its performance. The adapter is well-made and is quite lightweight as well. Moreover, it comes with protection against sudden power surges, overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent protection. With this device, I have a connection to my dish without the need for other adapters. I am satisfied

Had it for several months now, installed easily, without any problems. Note: I’m running the stock cable to the antenna but if I was to need a 100’ cable I would have opted for the 56 volt converter instead of 48 volt (because of current-voltage (IR) drop). Picture shows a messy prototype-test setup with a fuse block, optional cigar and USB-A outlets, but I plan to clean up the wiring soon.

Works well with the "Flat high performance" Starlink dish. The description says it is not compatible with standard dish but, the PoE injector works with standard Starlink dish (round Dishy v1 and rectangle Dishy v2). Only the cable converter (convert dish cable to ethernet) is not compatible with standard dish cable. The round dish (dishy v1) is already ethernet so it works right away. The rectangle dish (dishy v2) cable connector need to be change to ethernet (mapping is rj45 T568B) or another converter.
