Great dustpan shovel to have around the home/backyard to scoop up the leaves, dirt and general mess that plastic dustpan can't manage or generally break under the load. With it close to the ground mouth opening ensures you don't sweep the mess under the dustpan.i bought 2 of these units as a spare is always handy.

These are well worth the price tag! My husband keeps wanting to steal them for clean up on jobsites. I have one for inside, and one for outside. On a farm, with kids and animals, things break all the time. These hold up to the rough nature of our home.

I use the dustpan to get up wet soil. It usually bends a dustpan, but not this one. I work at a plant nursery. I have to sweep up areas where plants have been sitting. There's lots of icky mud, very heavy, this dustpan doesn't bend at all. Well worth the money.

I agree with one reviewer for the 12 inch dustpans, which are by same manufacturer who made the 17" dutpans that I bought. There is a large sticker glued to the bed of the dustpan. It is next to impossible to remove. I am going to try Goo Gone, but why a sticker should be glued in that position is beyond me! Also, they are supposed to be powdered coated, and guaranteed to not chip. The paint is coming off right out of the box. For the price, I am very disappointed.
