Air Tractor ag and utility airplanes have earned a reputation for friendly handling, incredible capabilities and unmatched versatility. Those qualities carry over to this E-flite Air Tractor 1.5m scale replica to make it a perfect scale low-wing model for intermediate to experienced RC pilots. The specially-tuned motor and 3-blade prop are matched to a 50-amp ESC to provide fantastic scale and sport aerobatic flight performance with 3S 2200-3200mAh LiPo batteries, or you can install a 4S battery for more power and unlimited vertical without the need for any modifications or upgrades. Functional slotted flaps improve slow speed handling while also offering Short Take Off and Landing (STOL) capabilities. Robust landing gear and wheels with oversized tires allow the Air Tractor to fly from paved, grass, dirt, gravel or other surfaces at any suitably-sized park or RC flying field. Add large ponds or small lakes to your possible flying sites by installing optional floats (EFL5261, sold separately) — or attach the optional scale-like skis (EFLA970, also sold separately) to take off from and land on snow. The factory-applied paint and decal finish provides excellent visibility along with striking scale looks that are accented by LED navigation, strobe and landing lights. SAFE Select Technology for Successful Flight
With SAFE Select enabled, you get:
Pitch and Bank Angle Limits: Keeps airplane from rolling or pitching upside down. Prevents excessive climb or dive angles.
Automatic Self-Leveling: Instantly return to and hold level flight when sticks are released at center position. Helpful for keeping wings level during takeoffs/launches and landings.
Easy Switch Assignment - No Programming Required: Simple procedure to assign a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select features on and off takes only a few seconds.
- If you don't want to enable SAFE Select, just bind the receiver normally, and it will function like a standard AS3X receiver.
Easy to take off, fly and land, making it a perfect choice for a first scale or low-wing model.
Versatile Gear Options
Thick grass, gravel paths, dirt trails; you can fly from these and many other surfaces that are impossible for most models of this size to handle. The robust landing gear is equipped with wheels and oversized tires that soak up the bumps of rough surfaces and provide excellent prop clearance. The optional float set (EFL5261, sold separately) features dual water rudders for superb steering control when flying from lakes and ponds. And the optional, scale-like ski set (EFLA970, sold separately) makes it possible to fly from snow or wet grass.

This is my favorite plane. I cannot say anything bad about this one besides the landing gear will bend slightly, just bend them back in place and good to go. I recommend taking the landing gear completely off if you want to rebend it back in place. You don't want want to use the leverage from fuselage to torque down on it. Beautiful and well made plane. Excellent!!

Efllite quality was once very dependable but I must say was disappointed with this model. It flys great but I was disappointed to see the exhaust pipes twisted in opposite directions and glued in. The battery tray and esc were both flopping around loose and were never glued and the manual was very lack g when it came to the tail section. Things that never should pass QC.

Excelente modelo. Al momento de armar es muy recomendable tener un desarmador muy pequeño para ajustar lentes.Muy recomendable para ser el primer avión de ala baja. Vuela muy estable y también muy acrobático. Excelente para empezar a practicar vuelos invertidos. Muy buena calidad y detalle. Las luces se ven muy bien en el atardecer.

Wirklich sehr gut zu fliegen. Aber wenn möglich Harte Landungen vermeiden. Hab jetzt schon 20 Flüge gemacht und ist wirklich klasse. Das landen muss etwas Trainiert werden mit der Maschine aber nach zwei drei Landungen,hat man sich sehr gut dran gewöhnt. Kleiner Tipp von mir hinten die federn am spornrad zusätzlich mit loctite und Sekunden kleber sichern.zudem sollte man das leitwerk hinten einkleben und etwas längere Schrauben für das Fahrwerk nehmen und auch mit Loctite sichern. Definitiv Kaufempfehlung !!

Except for the tail assembly, it is a very easy build. The parts all fit nicely. Flying it with a DX8 and it has few bad habits. Its quick and does well on grass. The details of paint and surface are excellent. I would like to see a Video by Eflite on how to assemble, bind it to respective xmitters. Aircraft is good for intemediate leve acro and could be a good 2nd airplane for a well trained novice. It appears ruggedly built.

This plane really is about the best all around airplane for almost any skill level. SAFE provides stability and gives confidence to the new pilot, AS3X provides useable stability and confidence to the experienced pilot in windy conditions. When both are turned off this plane can do things that no crop duster will ever do. It tracks strait as an arrow, unlimited vertical with 4 cell, highly maneuverable on high rates. GREAT AIRPLANE. It’s about my 30th or so and it’s top 5. Enough said. Also I’m not a fake reviewer, I’m a country Mississippi boy. Thanks!

E-Flite does it again. The Air Tractor was extremely easy to put together and unlike other brands, the parts actually fit. From the time I opened the box I was in the air within an hour. The Air Tractor flies like a dream. It's a shame that E-Flite discontinued the Pawnee but this plane takes over for it. It's not only visually appealing but it responds better than nearly most of my fleet. Most of the guys in my club are lining up to buy their own.
