Absolutely a blast to fly! Easy to assemble. Set this up on a Radiomaster TX16S and got all the bells and whistles working (SAFE/AS3X/ Reverse Thrust). This is my first EDF jet and I really love it. Cant say enough good things about it. I dont think it would be a perfect first RC plane though, start off with something a little bit slower.

Absolute junk. I would avoid anything from Horizon hobby including Spektrum or eflite. I’ve repeatedly had problems and get zero customer service.

Great quality, good 1st edf by using safe mode. With different motor from the STS version for 4-6s battery, use the 5s, turn safe off & you can light the fires & burn up the skies. Model was as described & arrived in hood shape & on the promised date.

This is my first EDF jet and and I absolutely love it. I am a intermediate pilot and this was fairly easy to fly if you don't count the crash I had, LOL. Was trimming it out and took my eyes off the plane and momentarily lost it. In the ground pretty quickly. Repaired and ready to go again!

Love flying this plane. Not good for hand launches or grassy fields but would buy again.

I flew on 6s 3300 mah packs and used safe for the first few flights. its so stable and very fast...mabey 80 90 mph. and it almost lands itself. it needs a good long room for takeoff and langing tho...edf jets take a bit to get to speed but on the flip side it has a very stable and long glide pattern so im off throttle 100yards right of the end of runway and then glide from 100ft alt. going left to bank into final approach to the left end of 300ft runway, i got about that far past the end on left after my bank in a little blip of throttl depending on headwinds but usually come in slighty hot nose down a few degrees 10 foot of ground then start the flare(it is also capable of using the landing assits sensor, as it has the place for it.) after 30 40 foot flared nose up 5-10 degrees it touches down and rolls out half the runway. i could probably land even slower but i dont know its stall speed but i know its pretty low. i dont know what it will try to do in a stall yet as i usually start testing those charachteristics up high after i get used to the plane enough to cofidently know what she'll do for sure. Ill say this though, like i said 2 faced snake.....turn of smart safe mode and go full throw max rates on all surfaces without agle limits and this plane can scare the best of piolots with its wicked rool rates and dive in high speed passes upwards 110+mph i would guess. its stoooopid stable and evil like nible as can be all in one good looking sport jet trainer.... this would be perfect for possibly a second plane(after high wing w/ dihedral trainer plane) or even for a first plane if you can get a person to buddy box with you but with the aility to use safe mode... almost could solo as a firts timer plane as long as you are fairly confident you know the controls and take it easy just doing simple oval laps and practice your landings as soon as possible while you have plenty of battery left.... will update when i get some real telemetry info... also thinking of doing a fpv camera and vr headset to fly fpvfrom takeoff to landings...thatd be a ball

I was skeptical and nervous about the easy to fly claims.I set up my NX8 as manual details and was flying a jet like a pro on my maiden flight. The flight time is diminished considerably compared to a propeller driven plane, maybe 4 minutes on a 4000 6s 70c.I have about 50 flights in the year I have had it and it's still my favorite. No issues other than I stripped the nose wheel servo on a botched, very hard landing on a grass field.I'm always satisfied with E-Flight products.
